MLA Kelly Greene wants to hear from youth about their priorities and issues, so that she can better respond and advocate for all members of our community. New members are always welcome!

The youth advisory also has opportunities to volunteer at events like Halloween in the Village and Richmond Pride Walk.

First Youth Council Event!
Our first Youth Council event is Lunar New Year at Aberdeen Centre on Monday, February 16th.
​
We provide opportunities for participation in and help organize community events, and involve youth voices in our constituency of Richmond Steveston. Some of these occasions may include the Fourth Annual Richmond Pride Walk, Lunar New Year celebrations, and other fun, collaborative events. Members collect volunteer hours and learn about the work of the provincial government.
We will hold meetings approximately 1-2 times a month, workload depending, with our first scheduled for early February at MLA Kelly Greene’s office in Steveston. Date and time is provided upon registration. (Snacks will be provided at the meetings!)
