Happy 2026! As we begin a new year, I reflect on the work that we’ve done together to make Richmond a better place to live. We have advanced to the next phase of redevelopment for the Richmond Hospital. The Lions Manor-Fentiman Place long term care project is underway with rezoning, and starting the next steps of the project. It’s been an amazing year, and I want to share what the government and I have been doing. Going back to our community for the holidays, I’m looking forward to connecting with constituents to hear from you about your thoughts and ideas and attend the many amazing holiday events spreading cheer in our region! We passed an incredible 19 government bills and 1 private member’s bill in the Legislature this fall, and are excited to hit the ground running when we return in February.

Dear Neighbour, I am so absolutely honoured to be entrusted to represent my home community of Richmond-Steveston for another four years, and serve as BC’s Minister of Emergency Management and Climate Response (EMCR). On November 24, 2020, I was first sworn in as MLA for Richmond-Steveston. This October, I was re-elected as MLA and, on November 18th, I have joined the BC Executive Council with the leadership of Premier David Eby, and was sworn in as a BC Minister. While workin
