Kelly & Trevor Greene Scholarship for Leadership
Deadline: Sunday April 28

  • 3 Scholarships @ $500 each, one per school, for the year 2024

  • Criteria: 

    • for a Richmond Grade 12 graduating student in McMath, Steveston-London and Hugh Boyd

    • to support a student showing community commitment and leadership, female or gender diverse

    • a minimum C+ average 

    • demonstrated financial need

    • submit a mini essay of which the theme will be revealed on Kelly's Facebook, Instagram and Youtube channel mid-February

 

  • Scholarship Promotion and Application Process:

    • Speak to your school counsellor or just submit the essay (see below), your name, school and transcript. Then, email information to scholarships@sd38.bc.ca and kelly.greene.mla@leg.bc.ca

    • Your school will work with the School Administration, Career Information Advisory and Scholarship Committee Chair to promote this scholarship to all Gr. 12 students.

    • Applicants would be requested to submit a 500-word essay on the following topic: how does community involvement in general, and your community involvement, contribute to leadership and student success.

    • Awards to be announced at the Graduation Valedictory Ceremony. Kelly will be presenting the scholarship to the successful recipients.
